1) Good Review for Beginners - This is a good review of the basics for beginners. For a complete novice, it doesn't offer enough detail to fully understand the concepts. The common theme in each chapter is to experiment and practice with your camera settings to better know how your camera works to help you get the good pictures you desire.

SOME OF THE SAMPLE CUSTOMER REVIEW FROM AMAZON :

1) can be helpful for beginners - This book is a guide to photography Lighting home Studio, explains the basic of what you should have to set up your home studio. Would be nice to have some lighting schemes and illustrations also.
But you can see that it is possible to have your own Studio.

2) Very pleased with this E-book! - As a first-time photographer trying his hand at indoor work, I made a lot of mistakes. My son is a photographer and I always enjoy the photos he takes, so I decided to try my own hand at the craft. It's a heck of a lot of more difficult than he makes it out to be and without any knowledge of indoor lightning conditions, requirements, tips and tricks, I was out of luck. This book seemed like a straightforward and specific resource That I could turn to when I wanted a quick lesson rather than getting enrolled in a class and altering my schedule for a hobby. I would highly recommend this book for everyone.

SOME OF THE SAMPLE CUSTOMER REVIEW FROM AMAZON :

1) A really useful book. - I have a DSLR camera and although I love taking photos with it, I realised that they could be so much better, which is why I downloaded this book.

It is quite simply a gem! The author starts by explaining what DSRL cameras are, and then goes on to discusses what type of photographer you want to be, and the type of images you want to capture.

From there the world of the DSLR camera unfolds, he gives plenty of excellent advice on how to use it and make your photos look as visually stunning as possible. He then goes on to explain some of the tricks of the trade, and discusses the increased revival in the popularity of black and white, and sepia, photography.

Included also are tips on maintenance of your camera.

In the conclusion, it was nice to see a good selection of photos for different types of photography, macro, landscapes, portrait, nature etc.
Basically I am really happy that I downloaded this book and am enjoying ‘playing’ with my camera.

2) Really made DSLR photography easy for me! - The step-by-step information was real easy to understand.
There were so many beneficial topics here, like light issues (dealing with the sun and flash), camera maintenance, F stops, zooming etc. There was even a really small chapter on photos hoping, but I’ve got another in-detail book on Photoshop software. Plus there was a great bonus chapter on making portraits! The help on hand positions were vital, like the knee tripod, bazooka hold, using a prop etc.

Before downloading this I just checked out the rating of some other books and compared to them this one really stood out. And I am glad I was not disappointed. I particularly liked the extra photos given at the end of the book. They were great examples, though if those images went along with the explanations about those particular types, i.e. landscapes, portraits, black or white etc. it would have been more suitable in my opinion.
