SOME OF THE SAMPLE CUSTOMER REVIEW FROM AMAZON :

1) never been able to afford one - I have now owned my Lunar for 7 months. I usually have a Sony 24-240 mm lens attached. It is the camera I grab when I don't know what I will find to shoot. Despite the weight of a heavy lens it amazes me how comfortable it is. The quality of the photos has been impressive. Access to the menu was initially cumbersome but an experienced photographer would have a short learning curve. I purchased the Lunar because I wanted to experience shooting with a Hasselblad but had never been able to afford one. It has become my favorite recreation camera and I look forward to shooting with it for years to come.

2) A piece of art to create art - For me an important part of the photographic process is how you relate to your gear. If you are a tech freak who only want to discuss sensors and AF speed then look else where. This is a machine for the artist, for those who recognize a fine craftsmanship. My version is the mahogany/copper and it is simple the best looking camera I ever had -Along with my Leica M8.

Hasselblad H5D-60 Medium Format Digital SLR Camera Body

The Hasselblad H5D-60 Medium Format Digital SLR Camera Body is the latest step in the evolution of the best high-end camera system in the world, with new look, improved ergonomics and upgraded performance on a number of levels. The improvements include more precise autofocus with True Focus II, a new faster processor and electronics architecture, smoother user interface and much more. The H5D Camera series will provide the ultimate high-end addition to any serious photographers capture equipment. The H5D-60 model contains a 40.2 x 53.7 mm 60MP (6708 x 8956) CCD sensor. With its large light path, it creates high resolution images with great clarity and color rendering without gradation breaks. Hasselblads Natural Color Solution (HNCS) creates accurate colors, with natural skin tones and an ability to capture specific product colors and tones that are difficult to reproduce. The improved Hasselblad Image Processing Architecture ensures fast performance and transfer speed.

An updated Graphical User Interface makes navigation easier and the 3.0" TFT LCD Display offers clear image playback. The bright HVD-90x Eye-level Viewfinder with 3.1x image magnification and diopter adjustment is packaged with the H5D-60, but other viewfinders are available including the HVM Waist-level viewfinder. The DAC Automated Lens Correction System relays information about capture conditions and the specific lenses being used to tweak autofocus and metering for improved imaging results. Images are produced in the Hasselblad 3FR lossless compressed RAW files and 1/4 resolution print-ready JPEG files. RAW 3FR images are 80MB on average and TIFF 8-bit images are approximately 180MB.

The H5D-60 is fully compatible with the HC/HCD line of central lens shutter lenses. As mentioned, these lenses integrate DAC and True Focus II technology for clear and accurate image capture. They allow flash sync at all shutter speeds, enabling the use of flash...

SOME OF THE SAMPLE CUSTOMER REVIEW FROM AMAZON :

1) Get real this is a great camera for commercial work. - Come on other reviewers this is for a Professional Photographer who needs the best. Not your home studio but a real high end commercial photographer who has to give the best output possible or his clients will go elsewhere.

By MARK B on January 13, 2016

2) Waste of time and energy - Bought one of these used for around 9K, barely used. I will say, this is not a walk around camera. It's more set scene, multiple strobe, carefully planned shot.

I have a Canon 1DX and 5DMKIII, and they are my move around cameras. If I'm shooting a wedding, party, or event I don't even bother lugging this beast around. Waste of time and energy.

Now if I'm in studio, or out shooting a outdoor scene where I'm lugging my Alienbees around, and setting up a spot for a specific purpose, this bad boy gets it done. I will say, it takes in a ton of light and may require a learning curve, if you're used to a ASP-C or FF camera. You'll notice the difference quick and realize you have to learn all over again. I put out about 150 bad shots (by professional standards) before I felt comfortable.

With the 80mm lens, I don't recommend a lot of diffusion on the lights. It creates a milky image. Instead of nice bokeh, you end up with some milky looking distortion around the edges. In my setup, I tack 3 sharp strobes (reflective umbrellas), and a direct soft box. I find this setup works well in both studio and outdoor shooting with this camera (so long as the lights are properly placed and setup).

All that being said, I can not say that this camera is all I dreamed it would be. It got 5 stars because it fills it's purpose. Being a bit naive, I didn't fully understand its purpose before I bought it. But I'm happy, made most of my 9k back on it, slow though as I am not a full time "professional".
