Photography

A classic reference work now fully revised for a second edition, Photography combines how-to information with inspiring examples to illustrate techniques that readers can immediately apply to their own work, whether in color or black and white. An all-new chapter on digital photography, plus an in-depth look at the world of commercial photography, make this edition a "must-have" primer and reference for beginning through intermediate students, amateurs, and aspiring professionals.

BRIEF ABOUT AUTHOR :

Bruce Warren taught photography at the college-level for more than 25 years. His participation in the Fulbright Teacher Exchange program took him to the London College of Printing in England. Warren earned a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Ohio University and his work has been exhibited at galleries throughout the U.S.

SOME OF THE SAMPLE CUSTOMER REVIEW FROM AMAZON :

1) Wonderful, comprehensive book on all aspects of photography. - "Photography" is a wonderful, comprehensive reference for photographers at all levels. Learning about photographic techniques can sometimes be tedious and hard to understand. Bruce makes it about as easy as it can be. This book is very well organized and laid out. One of the things that makes it so nice is the clear photographs that serve as examples. Sometimes it is hard to detect the subtle differences in photographs. The photographs in this book help the reader see these differences (for example, the difference between warm and cold tone papers).

2) A reference for life -  I actually attended classes taught Mr. Warren and was around when he
was developing his first edition. He loved what he did and it showed in his
teaching and this is what is in his book. A love and practical understanding
and teaching to bring out the "best photographer" in you.
